Introducing our club mascot Merlion Singa from Temasek Island, Singapore now in Sydney!
Hi... we at Singapore club in Australia would like you to meet our Club Mascot the very famous Merlion Singa. He used to be from Temasek, then Singapore, now in Sydney! Some of you have already know him/her and communicated to him/her via email etc and in the forums and sometimes very curious who is he/she.. so that's why we have this post to let you know more about him/her.

This is actually a picture of his/her old home.. he/she was living there for a very long time.. many generations i would say.. he/she's grandfather/grandmother/father/sister/brother/son/daughter/uncle/auntie/cousin/nephew/niece ..etc.. all living there and living very happily.. they have seen many thing happening in their hometown.... their home town used to be called Temasek, then now is called Singapore.
Including seeing floating thing around which they realise is really called.. malay samapan,/chinese junks/ Portuguese ships/dutch ship/english ship/japan ship.. got once very happening ... got very loud sound.. many thing flying around dropping stone that suddenly shaking the ground!! later they realise those thing flying around are called Zero fighters!!!
If you see his/her grandfather/grandmother, maybe they can even tell u more grandfather grand mother story!!
So anyway to cut the story short... last time they have many freedom can swim in and out of their home.. suddenly one day when they return home..they saw this!!!
How come got construction??? someone seem to be building something to block the entrance of their house... so he/she sit there pondering.. what to do???? shall he/she stay at home and be locked inside??? Or keep his/her freedom to swim out to the real world???
He/she think and think.. finally decided to say goodbye to his/her old home and decided to swim away.. he/she swim to one turtle island and bade the "toa pek kong" there goodbye!!
As he/she swim further south.. he/she find that the water is cooler and he like it there.. later he/she found new fren called nemo.. and they introduce him new home..called sydney!
So now he/she is happily living there, having a good life.. swimming up and down the Tasman sea for many good years to come!
From Temasek, to Singapore now in Sydney!
