What is this club about?
We are a small social group of Singaporeans living in Sydney and our network was started in response to the isolation of new Singaporean migrants and students, living in a new environment. The aim of the group is to provide and enhance community spirit among Singaporeans and their families by providing a platform for networking and socialising.

Background Story

There are alot of Singapore Clubs in Australia but sometimes we wonder what is their purpose?
What is the benefit of joining their club? - So far none as I can see..
Why need to pay membership fee?
Why to join their club we need to fill in membership forms and disclose our personal details??
Does any of our personal information get feedback to any one? - Maybe?????
How come attending their gathering need to take photo?
Plus many more reasons la, when you attend their gathering you will know. go once you wont go again ..

Our history
Anyway some of our members like Uncle Phil have been meeting and helping out people already for many many years, we can bond because we we talk about how we first struggled initially when first arrived in Australia, what mistakes we make, nobody to turn to for help, how many times we shifted houses and change address in Australia.. etc.

As we meet new Singaporeans who just migrated, most of them also struggled and most make the same mistake as us. So we decided to expand and reach out with the purpose to help out..

What are our beliefs?
This is a club for Singaporeans in Australia, however we respect your privacy, therefore this club is set-up with such an objective that it is an independent self help group that is non political and does not receive any funding or help from any Government organisations and therefore does not feed back membership details and opinion to any Government body.

Further more we want to emphasis that the following will be observed:

• No Membership forms to fill
• No Membership fees to pay
• No Personal Details will be obtained from you
• No Photographs at gatherings
• No funding from any government body

Club Vision

Our club vision is to be the Real Singapore Club of Australia!!

• We think that there are too many Singapore Club in Australia, but we aim to be the most successful one!
• We hope to help out newly arrived students or new migrants who left Singapore without a job to settle in Australia.
• A Place we can speak Singlish, hokkien, teochew, malay, etc to anyone who turn up and understands what we are talking..
• We aim to be self funded club.. a real independent club owned by members 
• Finally... We hope to have a physical club house or at least a kopitiam which we can call our own... where anyone can turn up any time to talk cock or have a quick meal or beer or a  nice cup of kopi-o.
